People say love is hard.
They say it causes so much hurt, so much pain.
That it curbs your freedom.
Why have a lover?
Why torture yourself and get into a long distance relationship?
Why limit yourself to one person only while there are so many others?
Hah!
Don't they see that those "hardships" are just pesky little annoyances that help to strengthen our bond?
Don't they ever realise the many joys that love entails?
Don't they know that "freedom" is meaningless if this existence is to be faced alone with no one to share it with?
A lover loves.
Distance makes the heart grow fonder.
Joys and memories shared with that one special person intensifies it all.
And most importantly, like the sun in the sky, the cycle of life and the sudden freak changes of weather in Melbourne,
loving you comes naturally.
